    CROCS Important Reminders

    Happy Hump Day All!

We are only 5 days away from our first day of practice for the 2019 season!  I can't believe it!  Just wanted to send out an email with several important reminders for events taking place between now and Monday.

REGISTRATION is ongoing and early bird pricing ends on Sunday, April 14th at midnight.  Payment must be received by the deadline, not just the online registration portion.

SAFETY CHECK is mandatory for all new swimmers ages 8 and under.  There are two time options for your swimmer to be evaluated; Saturday, 4/13 from 8-9:30 am and Sunday, April 4/14 from 1-3 pm.  Both will be held at VillaSport.  There will be a team representative just inside the main entrance to assist.  Swimmers should come in swim attire with goggles ready to go.  Each evaluation should only take a couple of minutes but it may take a bit longer depending on the volume of kids there at any given time.

PARENT MEETING will be held on Sunday, April 14th at 5 pm.  The meeting is for parents (not swimmers) and shouldn't take more than about 30 minutes.  We will begin collecting checks and medical release forms at 4:30 and will also be taking orders for team swim caps.  This is an off year for team towels so there will be no orders taken this season.

TEAM SUITS will be new this year and D&J Sports will be at practice on Monday, 4/15 with the suits for purchase from 4-7 pm.  Your swimmer must be dry to try on a suit so please arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled practice time to try on suits if necessary.  D&J will also have goggles, caps & practice suits for purchase in addition to the fins/flippers that are REQUIRED for each swimmer.

PRACTICE BEGINS on Monday, 4/15.  The complete practice schedule can be found under the Swimming tab on our home page.  Please only park in designated marked spaces.  Once lot is full, please park in the lot at Sampson and walk across.  We will also have the pool deck roped off so parents will not be allowed to sit in areas adjacent to the pool.  The coaches need to maintain the full attention of the swimmers and eliminate as many distractions as possible.  You cooperation is very much appreciated.

We look forward to seeing you all at the meeting on Sunday.  GO CROCS!
