TGIF, Croc Families!

Tomorrow is the big day! Time Trials is the official kick off of our 2019 swim season! Here is all the information you need to know.

KICK OFF PARTY TONIGHT (weather permitting... stay tuned for update later this afternoon)- We will be handing out team shirts, suits and caps. We will have pizza & drinks for purchase and swimming for the kids. We will also have our tent space auction for those interested. It'll be lots of fun so rain, rain, please GO AWAY!

MORNING SETUP/PARKING- The gates are usually unlocked about 6 am if you'd like to come set up your tent early (outside of the auctioned space area at the east end of the pool). There will be plenty of room tomorrow since we don't have a visiting team to share space with. The pool parking lot will only be open for drop offs until 7:15 so please keep that in mind. Parking in Sampson back lot is easiest. NO PARKING in Sampson front lot and circle drive.  Those areas are reserved for the CFISD bond election tomorrow. Please bring your license and run over and vote during the meet it you haven't already!  Please observe all NO PARKING signs on Coles Crossing Drive. We need to be courteous to our non-Croc neighbors.

MANDATORY CIRCLE IN BY 7:30 AM- All swimmers MUST circle in by 7:30 tomorrow morning at the lap pool. The circle in boards will be hanging on the fence by the front gate. Swimmers need to find their name and circle it so we know they are there. If a swimmer's name is not circled, the clerk of course assumes they are not there and they will be scratched from the meet. We will also have number writers located near the circle in boards to write your swimmer's event numbers on their arm. Look for someone with a sharpie to help you!

WARM-UPS will begin immediately following circle in and they are also mandatory for all swimmers. We will practice team cheers once warmups are done and then we will start the meet.

WEATHER- We know that the weather forecast includes thunderstorms tomorrow morning but we are keeping our fingers crossed. We will stop/pause the meet for lightning but not for rain. We also may have to push back the start. It is imperative that we get all of the kids timed tomorrow if at all possible. We will do everything we can to get the events completed even if we have to take a few breaks along the way... hopefully that will not be the case... but prepare to be flexible if necessary! Alerts will go out through our team Remind so please make sure you to subscribe if you haven't already (send a text to 81010 with the message @colescroc)

VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN- There will be sign in sheets in concessions (if you are working there) as well as at the information table. You MUST sign in to get credit for your shift. Please see Ashley Yoakem if you have any questions. She will be running around so ask someone if you don't know who she is.

CONCESSIONS- Don't forget to bring cash for some yummy concession treats. We'll have breakfast food, burgers, pizza, and smoothies too!
