Crocs,

A lot of stuff coming this week!  Hopefully the weatherman will cooperate and we can get the kids some practice before Time Trials next weekend.  More info on the specific plan for practice and Time Trials will come later from Coach French.

A lot of info to pass on, so PLEASE read all the way to the end!

Time Trials:

Swimmer sign-up for Time Trials is now open.  Please sign your swimmers up before the deadline of Tuesday night at midnight - the earlier the better!  We need everyone  to attend Time Trials if at all possible so your swimmer will have a seed time and be able to swim in next week's meet!  With no seed time, they will be ineligible to sign up for future meets - you can take care of the seed time requirement by attending time trials!  If there is no way you can make it there on Saturday, you need to contact the coaches as soon as possible!

For new families, to sign up for Time Trials, login to the website, find the meet, click on the Meet Entry box and follow the instructions.  HIT SAVE WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED!!!!  Instructions can be found on the website under Swimming > How to Enter a Meet.  If you have trouble, email [email protected] for help.

For Time Trials, in general your swimmers should be entered in all the events they might swim during the season.  For most 6U, this means 25 Free & Back.  For most 7/8, this means all the 25's. Most 9 and older swimmers should enter all six events.  In Time Trials, times count for seed times even if the swimmer would have been DQ'd in a regular meet, so if they have a clue about the event, sign them up!  If you have questions about your swimmer's particular needs, contact the coaches!

Croc Buddies:

We're getting the Croc Buddies program kicked off for this year!  All 6U swimmers will be assigned an older Croc Buddy to mentor them and cheer them on through the season!  It's a lot of fun for the kids!

If you are a 6U parent, please email a pic of your swimmer(s) to [email protected] so Isabelle can make a pin for your swimmer's big buddy to help them get connected.
