Last Weekend's Meet:  Congrats to the team for overcoming the weather and winning the first meet of the year!  The final score was 764-729; a very close meet against one of the best teams in NWAL, so great job all!

There were 5 new team records set by the 13-14 boys group, and 13 additions to the all time top 10 lists and the all time top 5 relay teams lists, so great swimming!  More details to follow on those achievements in another email.

If you'd like to see the meet results, just login to the website and go to Event Calendar, then click on Past Events.  You'll see a list of past meets with files under each meet - click on Results for the meet you're interested in.  These files will usually be posted within a few hours of the completion of a meet - a little slower for invitationals.

Invitationals:  Each year, the team competes in three Invitational Meets - these meets are kind of like All Star games in other sports - you have to swim certain times to qualify.  They are a lot of fun for the swimmers, and an honor to participate in the "All Star" games of Summer League.  Plus, they are indoors at high school natatoriums with indoor, air conditioned setup areas!

Our first invitational is Summer Thunder on  June 4-5.  A list of qualifiers will be published on the website each week, so watch to see what your swimmers achieve!

This Week:  This week we will take on the Bridgeland Barracudas in our first away meet of the year.  As always, more detail will follow later in the week.  For now, just make sure and get those swimmers signed up by the deadline of Tuesday night at midnight!

We'll have individual and team pictures taken at the pool this Friday, with individual pictures starting at 4, and the team picture at 5.  Melanie Gasson will be emailing more info about these pictures.  An order form for the individual pictures is attached - please fill out and bring it with you if you'd like pictures of your kids.  Everyone who can come, we need YOU at 5 for the team picture!

After the pics, we'll have our pep rally at 6 with fun, food, and music!
