We have our last away meet this weekend against the Fairfield Dolphins.  They are a very strong team with a great 8-lane pool so that should make for a fun, fast meet!  Here’s the scoop for the pep rally, tomorrow’s meet AND the Summer Thunder Invitational…

Today

The pep rally kicks off at 6 pm.  We’ll have fun & games for the swimmers along with Candelari’s pizza, frozen treats and drinks for everyone!  Swimmers will also be able to get their event numbers for the meet.  Ribbons and any remaining team & individual photos will be available for pick up. 

Tomorrow

1. All swimmers must arrive and circle in by 7:30.   It is imperative that your swimmer gets circled in on time so they won’t be scratched from the meet.

2. We still have a few volunteer spots open for tomorrow for 2nd shift.  Please step up if you can!

3. All swimmers must wear their 2017 TEAM SUIT. 

4. Make sure you and your swimmer(s) stay hydrated and have plenty of sunscreen!

5. Please observe all no parking signs and any volunteer instructions regarding parking and setup in the pool area.

SUMMER THUNDER at Klein High School

Sunday warm ups: 12:15-12:30

Meet starts at 1 pm but please review the timeline.  Events 1-30 (estimated 1 pm to 4:32 pm) are 10 and under events only.  There is a scheduled 20 minute break at 4:30 (or whenever event 30 is complete) for warm up for the 11 & ups that begin at event 33, estimated to begin at 5:29. 

Monday warm ups: 4:30-4:45- 11 & up events ONLY

Meet starts at 5 pm and is scheduled to end with relays at 10:26. Please make sure to check to see if your swimmer is in a relay before you leave.

Since this is an invitational meet, swimmers are allowed to wear technical suits if they have them.  Otherwise, please wear your team suit.   There will be indoor setup so you do not need to bring your tent, just chairs and your usual refreshments!
