Crocs:

The swimmer sign up window for Summer Thunder is now open.  Please note the signup deadline of 5/24 - this is a Wednesday and different from a regular meet.

Summer Thunder is our first invitational meet of the season - invitationals are kind of like All Star games in other sports, it's an honor for the kids to qualify.  They are extra meets in which our Crocs can swim in if they have the needed qualifying times and want to have some extra fun swimming with their friends.  Besides being a lot of fun for the kids, and they feature INDOOR SETUP IN THE AIR CONDITIONING!

Please note that there is a charge of $5 per individual event for invitational meets.  Parents will be expected to pay these fees to the Crocs - then the Crocs will cut one check to the meet sponsor.  Because these fees are not refundable to the Crocs, they are not refundable to the families either, even if something happens and the swimmer has to miss the meet.  The team covers the entry fee for relays.

In general terms, at Summer Thunder, 10 and unders  will swim on Sunday afternoon (6/4).  11 & ups will swim 100 yard events on Sunday evening, and all other events on Monday evening (6/5).

To find out if your swimmer qualifies, you can look at the qualifying times on the Meet Announcement or you can start the sign up process.  At the point you start selecting events for your Crocs, for events in which they qualify, their times will appear in blue - if they don't qualify, the times will be red - and it won't let you save the entry if they don't qualify.  Please note that there are no qualifying time requirements for 13 and up - all 13 and up swimmers are welcome and encouraged to participate in Summer Thunder.
