IMPORTANT CROC Details for Kickoff Party & Time Trial Meet

It’s almost time! Tomorrow is the official kickoff of the 2017 swim season with our annual kickoff party & Saturday is our time trial meet. Everything you need to know is listed below so please read all the way through.
FRIDAY
1. Individual and Team Photos will begin at 5 pm. If you are interested in having your swimmer’s photo taken (or siblings, etc.), plan to arrive by 5 pm. Wade’s Photography will be onsite taking individual photos while they are setting up the risers for the group photo. After the group photo is done, they will finish up with any remaining individual photos. There is an order form attached if you’d like to fill it out ahead of time and there will also be some available at the pool.
2. Your swimmer needs to wear their TEAM SUIT for the team photo. We may or may not have the team t-shirts in time to hand out prior to the photo so make sure you are wearing your TEAM SUIT if you want to be in the photo… and we want you in the photo!! If you don’t have one already, you can go to D&J Sports on Spring Cypress today until 6 pm or tomorrow during the day before the photo.
3. Older Croc buddies will receive the information regarding their younger Croc buddy so please plan to stick around after the team photo for that.
4. The party volunteers will be selling pizza from Candelari’s, soda and water as usual. In addition, we will also have popsicles, Klondike bars and ice cream sandwiches for sale!
5. Our tent auction will also take place after 6 pm so please be present and ready to bid with checkbook in hand if you are interested in a prime tent location.
6. There will be swimming for the kids after the photos are all complete.
7. Swimmers will also be able to get their event numbers for Saturday which will help things run more smoothly during the meet.
8. We are planning to hand out the team t-shirts during the party as well… if they arrive in time. There was an issue with the vendor (one we have not used previously) and we are uncertain what time they will arrive but we are keeping our fingers crossed. If they do not arrive in time for the event, we will hand them out on Saturday during the meet.
SATURDAY
1. All swimmers must arrive and circle in by 7:30. This is critical to ensuring that the meet runs smoothly and that your swimmer does not get scratched from the meet.
2. All swimmers must wear their TEAM SUIT.
3. Concessions will be open bright and early offering delicious goodies including breakfast tacos and coffee from Taco Cabana, donuts & kolaches from Shipley’s, fresh fruit, juices, Gatorade, candy, chips, burgers, pasta, Candelari’s pizza and much more. Come hungry and bring plenty of cash!
4. Make sure you and your swimmer(s) stay hydrated and have plenty of sunscreen!
5. The lot adjacent to the pool will not be available for parking, only for dropping off tents and other gear, so please plan accordingly. Also please mind the ‘No Parking’ signs along Coles Crossing Drive as we must be courteous to our neighbors.
