Parent Meeting:

We have a couple of very important events coming up this weekend!  The first is the pre-season parent meeting on Sunday at 5:00 at the community center.  At this meeting, we will discuss important information about the upcoming season.  It is very important for at least one parent from each family, especially families new to swim team, to be there if possible.  Topics will include practice, meets, volunteering, team suits, and a host of other things. 

You veterans may note that we are having the meeting a week earlier than normal this year - we didn't want to have this event on Easter weekend, so it's this Sunday instead.

Doors will open for payment and paperwork at 4:30 - the meeting will start at 5:00.

Please note that this year, to get the discounted early registration price, you need to both register AND PAY by the 4/9 deadline.  Payment can be made at the meeting, or by dropping off at 13715 Greenwood Manor.

Please bring or drop off the following: your medical form (one per family, found on the website under Documents), a check or cash for registration, a check for your volunteer deposit (both made out to Coles Crocs), and only if you are NOT a Coles Crossing resident, a check for the $25 per family for the HOA pool use fee (made out to CCCAI).

Safety Check:

To make sure that new, young swimmers will be safe in practices with a whole bunch of kids in the pool, we ask all swimmers 8 or younger (as of May 31) who have never been on any swim team before to participate in a Safety Check before practice starts.  This year, we plan to offer two sessions, one on Sunday (4/9) from 2:00-3:00, and one on Tuesday (4/11) from 4:00-5:00.  If you have a child that needs to be checked, you are welcome to attend whichever session fits your schedule better.  You can come any time during the hour - your child will be asked to swim one 25 yard length of the pool for a coach - there will be no timing, just observation to make sure they know how to swim well enough to be safe at practice.

Swimmers in this group will not be allowed to practice until they have been checked!
