Here's what's coming up for our team:

Pep Rally:

Tonight as 6, we'll have our pep rally at the pool as we get ready to take on the Waves!  We'll have games, swimming, pizza, and fun, and the coaches will prep the kids for tomorrow's meet.

Swim Meet:

Tomorrow morning, we travel to the Woodlands to take on the Waves.  The pool is located at 7505 S Forestgate Dr, Spring, TX 77382.  Warmup is at 7:40.  As always, swimmers must be signed in by 7:30, or they will be scratched from the meet.  Please sign in on both the boy/girl board, and the relay board.

The team still needs help from some of our great volunteers.  There are several critical positions that haven't been filled yet - the meet can't run without some of them.  If you need more points, here's your chance!  If you don't need points, please consider just signing up to help your kids' team.  The team can't function without you!

A couple of things to note about this meet...

THIS MEET IS NOT AT THE CONROE ISD NATATORIUM.  Two years ago, we swam against the Woodlands Marlins at the Natatorium.  This time we are swimming against the Waves, a different team.  The Waves swim at the neighborhood pool on Forestgate.

The Waves will not be selling heat sheets, so I am uploading one to the website.  If you want a heat sheet, go to Swim Meets and click on the Heat Sheet link next to the meet.

The Waves may or may not post up to date results, depending on the pace of the meet.  They encourage the use of Meet Vision, which is an app available through our website.  Since they are planning to run the meet using Swim-Team.US, you will be able to see results as they are loaded into the computer - the results may change as the volunteers find and fix a few errors, but you can see them as they are put in.  Go to our website using your mobile device - this will only work on the mobile version of the site.  Log in, then scroll all the way almost to the bottom to find the meet.  Click on the little arrow next to the meet, then on the Meet Vision icon.

The following note is from the Waves, regarding parking

All traffic needs to park on the street (Forestgate or around the corner on Flintridge.) Cars can pull in and drop off equipment – but will be asked to move if they do not have a pass.  **PLEASE NOTE: pass on to your team that they should NOT park in the Dove Trace subdivision across from the pool.  Their car could get towed!

Set up area for visiting teams is on the basketball court behind the playground equipment.

Divisional Championship:

Swimmer sign-up for Divisional will be open soon.  Please sign up quickly - the deadline for Divisional will be MONDAY at midnight instead of Tuesday.  This is a day early because the exchange with the other teams takes place a day earlier due to having 5 teams instead of two.  Everyone who has swum at a dual meet is encouraged to participate in Divisional - we need all our Crocs to compete for the Championship!

Awards Banquet:

Sign up for the Awards Banquet starting tonight at the pep rally.  Look for the McClemore's to sign up at the pep rally, the meet, and practices this coming week.  Swimmers eat free, and others are only $7.50 each.  The Banquet will be held June 20 at 6:00 at Sampson.  It will be catered by one of our generous sponsors, Candelari's Pizza!
