Here is some information for all volunteers and some specifics for tomorrow.  Please read.

All volunteers please follow these 2 points:

Show up on time – Know when your shift starts and be there on time.  If you are not sure, there is a document on the team site with all of the volunteer roles and estimated times.  Still not sure, ask at [email protected] .

Work the entire shift – We need everyone who signs up for a shift to work through the entire shift.  Do not leave early even if your swimmer is done.  If you must leave due to an illness or emergency, find me so that we can find someone to fill in. 

It is because of your volunteer efforts that these meets are able to run and our kids get to swim and have fun.  Thank you for everyone’s efforts.

For tomorrow’s meet, here is some additional information:

Setup – The setup volunteers should be at the Fairfield pool at 6:30AM.  There are 4 shepherd’s tents, a coaches tent and the sign in boards to organize.  The Fairfield team will direct you where to setup.

Swimmer sign in – For those handling swimmer circle in, that shift is from 6:30AM to 7:30AM.  Look for the sign in boards that the setup crew will have.

Timers and Scribes – There will be a meeting for all timers and scribes at 8AM (or close to) that first and second shift timers and scribes need to attend.   You will be assigned to a lane and checked in when your shift begins.

Ready bench – Each team runs their ready bench slightly differently.  There may be a meeting around 8AM for those helping at the ready bench.  Listen for announcements to know for sure.

The shift change will happen around event 40 or 41.  So shift 1 is events 1 through 40 and shift 2 is events 41 through 80.  Fairfield does have an 8 lane pool which should help the meet move quicker.
