Congratulations to the swimmers and coaches for a great meet on Saturday!

This week, we host the Wortham Whitesharks in a meet that often decides the West 1 regular season champion!  The sign up windows are now open for swimmers and volunteers for this weekend's meet.

Just for the record, you always have to sign your swimmer up for every meet you want them to participate in.  The deadline for swimmer sign up for dual meets is always Tuesday at midnight. 

If your swimmer wants to enter an event for which they still don't have a seed time (time trial time), you will need to contact Coach French as soon as possible, to be timed early enough for the times to be entered into the computer.  If they do not have a seed time in the computer for an event, they will not be able to enter that event in a meet.

Please double check your swimmer sign up after you are finished to make sure your swimmer is truly signed up for the meet.  Before the Tuesday night deadline, you can double check by clicking on the meet entry button as if you are going to sign your swimmer up again - once you pick your swimmer's name from the dropdown, you should see a list of the events you signed them up for.  If not, your swimmer is not signed up - try again.  Usually, when someone is unsuccessful signing up a swimmer, it's because they forgot to hit Save at the end of the process.

After Tuesday, you will be able to double check what your swimmer is signed up for by hitting the Meet Entry button, the same button you use to sign up.  Starting Wednesday morning, this button will show the Meet Entry report.  To see only your swimmer, enter your swimmer's last name and hit refresh.  Please note that the Meet Entry report will change as Coach French adjusts the team's entries and adds relay teams.

If you see any problems when double checking your swimmer's events, please email [email protected] or [email protected] as soon as possible.

If you have questions about signing up your swimmer, go to Documents, and look at Meet Sign Up Instructions. 

Please note that once you have signed up for the meet, parents are currently unable to delete or modify their swimmer's entries.  We have asked our website provider to allow parents to modify entrees before the deadline, but until they provide this capability, if you need to change your swimmer's entry before the deadline, you will need to email [email protected] or [email protected] to get an admin to do it for you.
