Thank you everyone for stepping up and filling all (well 168 of 169) available volunteer slots.  We appreciate your help so that the kids can have a great swim meet.

Here is some information about the volunteer positions for tonight and tomorrow:

Pep Rally:

For those signed up to do Setup and Serve, your shift begins at 5PM.  Number writing begins at 6PM. 

Meet Setup:

Check in with Michelle Bacot when you arrive.  Setup activities begin at 6AM. 

Timers and Scribes:

There is typically a timers and scribe meeting at 8AM.  Those working either shift 1 or shift 2 needs to attend the meeting at 8.  Listen for announcements for the location and exact time of the meeting.  Glen or I will check you in at the beginning of each shift.

Concessions:

For those working in the concession stand, there are 3 shifts during the day and are based on time (not events like timers and scribes).  The shift times are:

• Shift 1: 7AM – 9:30AM

• Shift 2:9:30AM – 12:00PM

• Shift 3:12:00PM – 2:30PM

All concession-based workers (food preppers, pizza picker uppers, pasta cookers, etc.) need to sign in at the concession stand to make sure you get credit for your efforts. 

Detailed descriptions about the various concession roles can be found on the team website under the Documents menu and titled ‘Concession Job Descriptions’. 

Meet Take Down:

This will begin at the end of the meet.  All of the tents need to be bagged and stored in the front closet.  All of the other items need to be picked up and stored neatly in the closet near the rest rooms.  Michelle Bacot will guide this activity. 

Shepherd Tents:

The shepherd tents for 6&under and 7/8 are located behind the shallow end of the pool near the fence (Coles Crossing Dr. side).  You will be given a listing of all swimmers in your age group to organize and get them to the ready bench at the appropriate time.
