This weekend is coming up fast!  First, a little team business...tonight at midnight is the deadline to sign your swimmers up for Time Trials.  By midnight, every swimmer on the team should be signed up for Time Trials, or if you can't be there, you should have contacted Coach French to make alternate arrangements.  If you don't do one of those things, you will not be able to swim in future meets, and right now, there are 75 swimmers that aren't signed up for Time Trials.

 

Some volunteer jobs are still available as well.  Please take a look at those and consider helping out.  Parents of 15 and ups, we need you too!  Please continue to volunteer when you are able - it is greatly appreciated.

 

Team pictures will be taken Saturday morning before Time Trials, so if your swimmer doesn't have a team suit yet, please hurry to D&J Sports on Spring Cypress and get one!  Everyone will need to be in a team suit for the picture.  D&J is having issues with certain sizes of boys' jammers, so if your son needs a size that they don't have in stock, please feel free to purchase a plain black suit to use for a team suit instead.  We don't know if they will be successful in re-stocking or not - TYR apparently discontinued the design and nobody told us until last week.

 

Now on to the fun stuff!  This Friday at 6:00 is the pre-season team party at the pool!  There will be a 20 foot slide and pool time and activities for the kids, and music and food for everyone!  We'll have a $1 menu with hamburgers, pizza, and drinks, all for $1 - the hamburgers are being provided and grilled by one of our generous sponsors, Raus Restoration, so give Johnny a big thank you when you see him!  And...Bahama Bucks will have a truck in the parking lot providing delicious treats!

 

During the team party, we'll have our annual tent space auction!  The auction is an annual fund raiser for the team in which we auction off prime tent spaces for families to use during the year, so be ready to bid on some prime real estate for those home meets, and support the team, all at the same time!
