Volunteer Updates for 2026 Season

We’ve made a few adjustments that we hope will improve the volunteer experience. Please read all the way through!

Volunteer Points

• Each family is required to earn 5 volunteer points this season.
• Most jobs are worth 1 point.
• Timers and Scribes are worth 2 points.

Ready Bench

• Ready Bench will now be divided into 3 shifts, making each shift shorter.
• Each shift is still worth 1 point.

Volunteer Check-In

For Time Trials and home meets, we will have a Volunteer Sign-In Area.
This will help us confirm everyone is present and avoid scrambling to find people at the last minute. For away meets, you can check in near the circle in area.

Timers & Scribes Reminder

If you are signed up to time or scribe (either shift), you must attend the timer's meeting before the meet begins. All timers go to that meeting.

How to Sign Up

• Volunteer sign-ups will open on the Sunday before each meet at 8:00 PM on our website.
• You may want to set an alarm to grab the job you want.

Important Sign-Up Guidelines

• On Sunday night, please sign up for only one job.
• Last year, some families signed up for two immediately when registration opened.
• To keep things fair, we will remove extra jobs if we see that happening.
• Starting Tuesday, you are welcome to sign up for a second job if you'd like.

Even if you already have a job, there may be times when we still need extra help. We truly appreciate everyone stepping up, so we can keep meets running efficiently for our swimmers.

Season-Long Volunteer Positions

We are looking for a few volunteers for roles that require consistent help throughout the 2026 season. These positions will have interest forms posted on the website through April 11. Names will be randomly drawn for each position.

• 2 Set-Up Crew Members (3 points)
• Set Up Crew Interest Form
• Ready Bench Lead (3 points, 1 shift per meet – must have experience working the ready bench)
• Co-Ready Bench Lead Interest Form
• 2 Take-Down Crew Members (3 points)
• Take Down Crew Interest Form
• Pep Rally Games Lead (3 points)
• Pep Rally Games Lead
• Team Party Assistant (2 points)
• End of Season Party Assistant

These roles (and a few others) will become available again next season.

Upcoming Opportunity

We will have a Storage Move-Out on April 8.
Sign-up for that will go live on April 5 (Easter) at 8:00 PM.
